Kenn Burrows
Kenn Burrows was an artist who lived in Cambridge. Originally from London, he trained at Hornsey Art School and worked for the BBC and ITV before setting up The Print Shop with Gordon Gillick in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
His work was exhibited and sold around the world from the 1960s. Some of his silk-screen prints were exhibited at the Royal Academy. His Avoid the Rush Hour poster for London Transport is well known, and he won the Observer Prize for Barn Interior. His Cockerel adorned the set of ITV's Coronation Street for many years.
His last major exhibition was at the Discerning Eye exhibition in London's Mall Galleries.
